Collaborated with the Kenyan East African Biodesign Fellows to redesign a pediatric hydrocephalus shunt optimized for low-resource clinical settings. The project focused on improving reliability, reducing failure rates, and simplifying maintenance through context-appropriate materials and mechanical design. The goal was to create a more durable and serviceable shunt system suited to hospitals across East Africa.
