I studied engineering in Hangzhou, China, completing coursework in mechanics of materials, technical communication, and Mandarin Chinese at Zhejiang University. Studying alongside Chinese students expanded my engineering perspective and strengthened my cross-cultural communication skills. This experience reinforced the importance of context, language, and culture in global engineering practice.
