PETRA — Predicting Diabetic Foot Ulcers Early
Co-founded PETRA, a low-cost thermal-imaging system that detects plantar temperature asymmetry (≥2.2°C) to predict diabetic foot ulcers up to 5 weeks before they form. PETRA combines smartphone-based thermal imaging, AI-driven hotspot detection, and a simplified clinical workflow designed for low-resource primary care in India and Kenya.
